Well done - reminds me of a story one of my Dad's old Army buddies told of Winnie, the south coast of England in around 41-42 and a German fighter plane - needless to say only one person did not dive for cover
That's a neat story, thanks for relaying it! I think it's important for these stories to be told- they help us understand our history, especially as we move further and further away from the time when it happened.
The best part was that as my Dad's mate was firing away with his Bren gun at the plane, Winnie was yelling and stamping his feet, tell the pilot to get off English soil (the polite version I am sure)
