No matter how many grid lines or alignment lines or sketches...
Frustration, indeed! It doesn't help that my alignment lines always seem to end up asymmetrical, themselves.
It's probably the hardest thing I've found as an artist to overcome- except maybe skew from drawing opposite directions.
Oh man, this happens almost every time.
Adding construction lines helps, but the only true solution is to keep flipping the piece and checking. It's just so frustrating when it slips past.
Death the kid, eat your heart out.
oh yeah those can be very annoying to have.
A very frustrating hassle.
good one. made me laugh but I really can't relate. I never use the computer to do my art work.
Thanks! When I did traditional art, I'd use a mirror to check symmetry. This can apply for things like model-building as well.
I thought asmmetry was a good thing?
Deliberate asymmetry is important for visual interest, but this is about trying to draw something symmetrical and getting it wrong.
lol love the fourth panel face, really cool art style that
Yea, that is a real pain in the ass.
It's even worse if you're a traditional artist.
LOL! So true... so true...
LOL! The symmetry check gets us every time...
