Drossel Von Flugel (From "Fireball") has taken a bit of a trip, and found herself lost in the Savage Land. Being a self-repairing robot has its benefits, however, and she seems to be doing well enough. Perhaps she's been helping out a lost tribe or something.

This pic was inspired by :icongb2k:'s Savage Land series, which is pretty darned awesome. I think my favorite is Savage Land Tifa:

Art Notes

As I'm learning about mecha design and drawing, I figured I'd draw a relatively straightforward design. I took a bunch of pictures of my Figma Drossel, after posing it, then used them to help make this picture, along with the figure itself. Normally, I'd be a lot more free with posing and whatnot, but I was very strict this time, because it's important for me to get a feel for the way mechanical structures work in space. I want to get things right.

(By the way, as I'm uploading this, I'm listening to "Robot Rock" by Daft Punk)

Thanks! Your Savage Land series has been brilliant and a great inspiration.

Only thing that would make this better is if she were in a capoeira pose with Schadenfreude on her head.

It wouldn't work with the Savage Land design theme. Besides, she could get a real monkey, I figure.

Thanks!

I think maybe she's alone this time- and it's probably good for her to learn to look after herself.

The Savage land series idea is pretty interesting.
Just wondering though, if you had the time to create a series in a similar fashion of your own, what would it be?

Hmm, I'd have to think more about it. I'm really not quite sure.
