Mall's Guard

The local mall will remain safe against the predations of all mischief-makers, ruffianly and villainly ne'er-do-wells and stickers-of-gum neath the seats and railings. All of this is thanks to the watchful guard company.

Art Notes:

It's Shiori and Coral in alt-universe style! I was inspired by paintings of various Town Guards from the 16-17th centuries and translated it into an alt-universe Mall Guard. The town guard was what existed before organized police, but it had larger duties including defense of the city/town against marauders as well as general preservation of order.

Coral's Bill is a bit shorter than a normal one, to help with maneuvering in tighter spaces. The sword at her belt is a Falchion. Shiori is wielding a cut-and-thrust sword with a complex hilt as well as a buckler. Her flintlock (or wheel-lock, depending on how early this is) pistol isn't visible from this angle, however.
