A brand new block of stores has opened up at the Spaceport's shopping center. It's dedicated to the higher-end, more prestigious shopper. As such, it's much fancier and demands a higher level of style from the employees.

The danger has been dealt with, but it's back to work for our dedicated security officer!

I  felt like getting a bit more comic practice in. I want to make a "one shot" comic soon- something 40 pages or so, a self contained story. But before I can do that, I need to make sure I'm a bit more comfortable with the basics of comic work. That means a bit more practice, and  a short Shiori series will help.

If you were wondering, Shiori is one of my original characters. She is 19 years old and works in security at her job, which is at the spaceport's shopping center.  

I drew this in Manga Studio 5. Don't worry, she'll keep her regular uniform for other jobs. I looked at pictures of real police/security uniforms to make a sort of pastiche of the most stylish ones- at least, that I think is stylish. Fortunately the worlds I draw share my sense of style.
