Drossel Babysitting by wbd Drossel Babysitting by wbd
The Ayase family was out, so Mr. Koiwai got a babysitter for Yotsuba...

Anyways, my Figma Drossel arrived the other day, and I figured I'd take some pics with it. She's a bit taller than Yotsuba, and proportion-wise works out nicely for pics with her. This was pretty fun to put together.

Yes, and there's a new Drossel coming out that's even bigger than the Figma one that has LED lights in the eyes just like the nendoroid one.

Panel 5 is seriously cute, but this comic needs more Cardbo.

Thanks- I thought about adding Danbo, but I wanted to stick to a simple theme of babysitting. Maybe Drossel and Danbo can meet up later.

Thanks! I had fun putting this one together. I have a Yotsuba calendar, and it has pictures of all the characters from the manga in it. Every Sunday it has a "drawing by Yotsuba", and I wanted to draw something like that.

Who is that robot girl? I saw her at figma's site and I was curious as to where she came from.

She's Drossel Von Flugel, from the 3d animated series "Fireball". I think there are some subtitled episodes on Youtube, if you look around.

It's a little one that comes with a Keroro Gunsou kit. You have to paint it yourself, however.

Thanks- I had fun putting it together. I ordered my Drossel from Hobbysearch (1999.co.jp), but HLJ also stocks them. I think the initial batch has been sold out, however, so you'll have to wait until August to get more. It's a premium figure, so expect to pay a premium price- about 3000 yen, plus shipping.

No prob. I see, I see. I searched HLJ but found out that they are sold out until August, but I didn't know about this "Hobbysearch". 3000 yen? That's a little more that 30 bucks, right?

Hobbysearch is another Japanese site that sells to people outside Japan. I order from them quite a bit, and have done well. They only ship via EMS, so it ends up being a bit pricier than HLJ, but they also ship much faster.

3000 yen is slightly more than 30 USD, yes.
